Daniel Severance (also known as Danny Severe or just Danny) was an American yo-yo player from Delaware, the younger brother of Tyler Severance, and a member of the former yo-yo club at Mitchell's Trains, Toys, and Hobbies. He was revered for his outgoing personality and reckless sense of creativity. Although he rarely competed in a contest setting, he had inspired many players with uniquely inventive tricks and an incredibly smooth playing style, primarily yo-yo'ing in 1A and 5A. Tragically, he had ended his own life on December 19th, 2013, at the age of 21.
