YoYo Wiki

David Bolgarfalvy is a Hungarian yo-yo player started around 2005. In his early days, he started to experiment with aluminum yo-yos and different concave bearings also made a few designs for himself. This was rare at the time, especially in Europe. In 2006 he gave a shot on his first performance and placed 3rd on the Hungarian National Championship in 1A Pro. In the following years, he was approached by Duncan but declined the offer cause the company I quote him "was lacking good yo-yos". Complicity and uniqueness of his style weren't appreciated as much as he wanted, after a few years he stopped and returned in 2010 at the first modern EYYC. This is where he placed at 9th, defeating all the other Hungarian champions. After this, he started to make strings, bearings, yo-yos and sold a few prototypes for the public. At the same time, he appeared more often in yo-yo meetings and slowly started to educate the new generation.
