The Zzzip-Fly by Dif-e-Yo was first released in the December of 2003. This is a smaller and lighter version of the Dif-Fly, and featured a KonKave bearing and Dif Pad response. Also released in 2005 was a special Collectors Edition of the yo-yo (and a 24 karat gold-plated Limited Edition variant), which came with a special stand with an exotic wood box with felt lining. Only 55 of these Collectors Edition Zzzip-Flies were made, along with the 19 Limited Edition models. The current version of the yo-yo, which features flush-mounted Dif Pads, is known as the Zzzip-Fly-F.
Also developed by Frank Difeo was the Zzzip-Man, a custom composite-material yo-yo combining the hubs of the Zzzip-Fly with the body of a translucent blue YoYoJam Hitman. The Hitman rims on this modified creation are satin-finished, along with a recessed Dif Pad response system.
