The DragonFly is the re-branded version of the ProYo Turbo Bumble Bee GT, acquired when Duncan bought out the assets of Playmaxx. In addition, it was also released in the 2010s Hyper Yo-Yo reboot as the FlameWing (Japanese: フレイムウィング).
The DragonFly features Brake Pad response, as well as a ball bearing axle and significant rim-weighting to compliment a narrow, rounded wing shape. The DragonFly is available in a variety of semi-translucent colors, rather than the dual-toned black and yellow of the original Turbo Bumble Bee GT.
The Dragonfly was re-released in 2021 with a new design under the same moniker. The new design features a much more pronounced wing shape, more akin to that of the butterfly shape. It also features a transaxle bearing compared to the ball bearing axle of its predecessor, and a starburst response system instead of break pads. The dragonfly was available in a variety of semi-translucent colors, but has since been discontinued again.
