The MetalBullet (Japanese: メタルバレット) is a Duncan yo-yo licensed for Bandai's Hyper Yo-Yo line, released in 2011. It is the upgraded version of the WoodBullet.
Description[]
A step-up from the WoodBullet, the MetalBullet features a small, A-sized bearing, along with plastic spacers and Friction Pad response. In that way, it can be used for either looping or sleeping-based tricks. It can be seen as the modern equivalent to the original ProYo Hyper Wasp, but the difference lies in the response system. While the MetalBullet used Friction Pads, the Hyper Wasp used Brake Pads.
The Friction Pads are actually thick rubber washers that fit into the recesses where the WoodBullet's axle sleeve fits, making them act as response pads. The Friction Pads also have cavities for the bearing spacers.
Also sold separately is the Hyper Yo-Yo Bullet Custom Set, which contains parts to allow the user to upgrade his/her WoodBullet yo-yo into a MetalBullet.
