The Duncan Sportsline series of plastic yo-yos were released in 1965. The shapes of these yo-yos were based on the shapes of balls of various sports, such as Baseball, Basketball, Bowling, Football, and Golf, but internally they were similar to Duncan's typical plastic yo-yos of the time such as the Imperial.
Because of their association with sports, they are sometimes used as promotional items for various companies involved in sports.
