HyperCluster Wide Wing S SpeedFalcon (Japanese: ハイパークラスターワイドウイングSスピードファルコン) is a yo-yo released in Bandai's HyperCluster line of customizable yo-yos.

Description[]

The SpeedFalcon is a specialty string trick HyperCluster yo-yo designed to accommodate players from beginning to advanced skill levels. The string gap depends on the Bearing part used by the player. It comes included with two different Bearings for different levels of play; a plastic bearing for beginners and a large metal ball bearing for unresponsive play.

Parts Overview[]

Body: Wing S SpeedFalcon[]

This Body has a wider flared shape than that of the standard Wing Body, and features aluminum midship weights for longer spin times, ideal for string tricks. It is a glittery semi-translucent green in color with yellow-colored weights and on either side is text reading "HYPERCLUSTER SPEEDFALCON", along with a stylized falcon motif.

Core: Wide[]

This special Core comes exclusive with the SpeedFalcon, and features CBC Large Slim Pad response. It can accommodate large C-sized ball bearings, especially the MB3 included, along with the exclusive PB II. It cannot accommodate bearings of smaller sizes.

Bearing(s): PB II and MB3[]

The Plastic Bearing II (PB II) is the successor to the original Plastic Bearing, but it could only be used with the Wide Core, and is meant for beginner to intermediate level players. It is not interchangeable with the original PB. Metal Bearing 3 (MB3) is a string-centering Center Trac bearing (referred to as a "UFO-style" bearing in Japan). When used, it widens the string gap enough for low-responsive, advanced-level string tricks.

Trivia[]

  • SpeedFalcon is the only known HyperCluster yo-yo to use a Center Trac bearing, as well as being one of only three yo-yos in the Hyper Yo-Yo line to use a Center Trac.
  • Meteor Bahamut also features aluminum midship weights on its Body halves.
