AXYS is a system of interchangeable axles first introduced by Henrys in 1999.

Axle types[]

Each AXYS axle features a different bearing for different levels of play and performance on the yo-yo equipped with any of them. They can be exchanged by means of a ring wrench tool. Each axle also features a pair of O-rings for the Quicktrick gap adjustment mechanism, similar to the original Viper.  Another advantage offered by the AXYS system is the ability to chage out damaged or worn-out axles.

HenrysSpeedExplosion2

Speed Explosion: This axle features a precision metal ball bearing for faster and longer spinning. Standard in the Viper AXYS and Coral Snake.

HenrysSlider2

Slider: This axle features a plastic transaxle sleeve. Not as long spinning as the Speed Explosion, but is more beginner-friendly. Standard in the Cobra, Lizard, and Tiger Snake.

HenrysWoodoo2

Woodoo: This axle features a free-moving wooden spool. Sold separately.

HenrysShockhead2

Shockhead: This axle features a fixed wooden axle for the nostalgic feeling the user gets from a classic wooden yo-yo. Sold separately.

Compatibility List[]

The Viper Neo, Viper Flux, Viper Neo XL, Python, and M1 are not compatible, due to using a different axle system.
