In September 2015, SPYY re-opened its doors and began work on a new titanium return top, the TYY-01. The prototype was CNC machined out of top quality aerospace-grade titanium, and was beta tested. The results were promising, as with any return top previously produced by SPYY. 165 production models were machined, laser-etched, and serial-numbered. It was officially released on November 8th, 2015 worldwide.
The TYY-01 features an angular, H-shaped profile designed for super-long spinning and a dead smooth playing feeling. Easy to control, yet packed to the rims with power. To ensure its top-notch performance, the return top comes included with a large KonKave C-bearing from Dif-e-Yo, along with silicone CBC Pads in the popular Large Slim size. The TYY-01 isn't just a collector's item; it's a masterpiece with extreme, competition-level performance straight out of the tin that it comes in.
