The gyroscopic flop is a sidestyle yo-yo trick.

How to perform

First, do a trapeze mount, then use your opposite hand to go underneath the yo-yo once, putting a wrap around it. At this point, you can tug both ends of the string, causing the yo-yo roll horizontally.
