The Japan National Yo-Yo Contest is one of the most premiere yo-yo competitions in the world. Often said to have tougher preliminary rounds than the World Yo-Yo Contest, the winner of Japan Nationals frequently goes on to win at Worlds.

Established fully in name in 2003, Japan National replaced Japan's premiere UTYJ national contest at the time. The national title winning contests first started in 1998.
