Japan Technology is a yo-yo manufacturer based on the Japanese island of Hokkaido, started in 2009 by world-class offstring player and former THP Japan member Atsushi Yamada. The company is best known for making high-end offstring yo-yos that boast an extreme level of performance good enough for contest-level play. Of course, the yo-yos had seen use in the competitions, especially ones as high as the World Yo-Yo Contest.
In early November 2015, Japan Technology's team players was joined by their first-ever non-Asian overseas member, six-time concurrent U.S. National 4A Champion and former member of Team YoYoJam, Bryan Figueroa.
