The Tundra is a yo-yo produced as a collaboration by Luftverk and CLYW. It was first released at the 2016 World Yo-Yo Contest and later exclusively on the Luftverk online store.

The Tundra is another fine titanium creation by Luftverk, this time collaborating with the Canadian-based company, CLYW, as an exercise in brand presentation from both of these very different companies. As with previous releases, the yo-yo is made of Grade 5 titanium alloy in an Inverse Round profile like that seen in certain CLYW models, but it also comes with a Center Trac bearing (a ceramic bearing for the Tundra AMS2488 Type II) and CLYW's Snow Tire response pad system. Each Tundra yo-yo comes in gorgeous packaging that includes a hand stained wood inlay cut by Drew Tetz, custom grey-on-grey patches and a numbered certificate to authenticate each one sold.
Originally, the plan was to distribute 150 yo-yos, but due to anodization issues, 90 units had to be destroyed. This had left an even more limited number for the Tundra, with 30 raw units (Tundra R) and 25 units with a AMS2488 Type II hard coat finish (Tundra AMS2488 Type II). Typical of Luftverk's yo-yos, the units distributed at the 2016 Worlds sold out quickly, as well as on the Luftverk online store shortly after.
