The 5150 is MadHouse's debut yo-yo. It features a C-bearing, flowable silicone response, and a profile similar to the Anti-Yo Eetsit. With a 50mm diameter and a 62 gram weight, it is fairly undersized and lightweight but it has a great weight distribution that makes it feel heavier and sleep longer. The 5150 has 'inverted spikes', which are useless for matador style tricks, but added a cool look to the yo-yo.
It is offered in many colorways and it is either bead-blasted or polished before anodization. As an added bonus, the beadblasted version has the response area masked off prior to bead-blasting to avoid string cutting.
Trivia[]
- 5150 is the code for a mentally disturbed person in California law enforcement.
- That being said, MadHouse's name also refers to an insane asylum.
