Matt Ritter is the only three time world champion in spin tops. His hometown is Tallahassee, Florida and he attends Florida State University. His fluid style and cool as ice performances have made him a much admired figure in the top spinning world. He is known for a number of new tricks including the ghost catch and the underwhip. In the 2007 World Championships he finished his performance with an impressive and well timed hat grind. This hat now sits in the Top Spinning Hall of Fame.
