The Prime8 is a return top produced by MonkeyfingeR Design as the signature model of Tyler Jorgensen. It was first released on December 9th, 2016.
Description[]
Developed to the specifications of MonkeyfingeR's player team captain Tyler Jorgensen, the Prime8 came about as a way of combining lighthearted fun with performance. Tyler himself is known to be the type of guy to have fun and kicking back with awesome people, the return top is designed to exemplify this feeling. Featuring a comfortable hybrid H-Shape/Butterfly profile, it is both stable and fast, allowing it to perform a wide variety of tricks while maintaining its momentum. Along with that, the side cups feature not one, but two inner thumb grind rings, which also serve as weight distribution for the inner cups.
Depending on the colorway, the Prime8 is made of 6061 or 7075 aluminum alloys. On the topic of the colorways, they each are a riotous, multi-colored anodization, typical of the minds at MonkeyfingeR.
It comes stock with a 10-ball Tasmanian Tornado bearing with Monkey Snot flowable silicone response, a triangle display box, custom color Ape Hangers string, two info cards and a MonkeyfingeR throw pouch.
Trivia[]
- The Prime8's name is a pun on the term "primate". Considering the monkey themes commonly used by MonkeyfingeR Design, this wouldn't be too surprising.
