The 54 is a yo-yo produced by One Drop. It was first released in the October of 2010.

Description[]

The 54 is a Butterfly-shaped aluminum yo-yo with angular rims. It is named for being 54mm in diameter, and up until its release, most One Drop yo-yos were rather undersized. The yo-yo, while having an unusual size for the brand, still kept the freshness One Drop is well known for.

In addition to being "full-sized", the 54 is also the first yo-yo to implement a new interchangeable axle hub system, called Side Effects. Each Side Effect hub comes in a different shape that not only serves to regulate the weight of any compatible yo-yo equipped with it, but also to provide visual impact. The 54 comes standard with the Spike Side Effect, the halves of which being spike-shaped. The yo-yo also comes included with a brass Dome Side Effect. It also has the usual internal components; silicone Flow Groove pads and a large 10 ball C-bearing, all for unresponsive play.

In 2012, One Drop produced a special 7075 aluminum version of the yo-yo, the GZR 54.
