The ProYo ProFire is a yo-yo released in 1999 by Playmaxx.
Description[]
The ProFire was developed to be a less expensive version of the Turbo Bumble Bee, featuring a two-piece transaxle sleeve made of brass, which would theoretically make it spin as long as the 'Bee. It also features Brake Pad response, and comes included with an extra string and a spare Brake Pad. It was also exclusively produced in a translucent red coloration. Steve Brown was given a ProFire by Playmaxx to test, and he commented that he was able to loop with it, along with the yo-yo falling off the string afterwards.
Also released was the ProFire GT, which features the same body shape as the Turbo Bumble Bee GT for better performance in string tricks.
When Duncan Toys acquired Playmaxx, the ProFire design was re-branded as a yo-yo in the Hardcore series.
