The Galaxy is the name used by Russell on the special promotional versions of the yo-yos they've already produced, such as the Challenge, Super, and Professional. It is essentially a cosmetic variant of those yo-yos.
It is best known for the glitter that is integrated with the plastic during the manufacturing process. This gives the visual effect of a starry galaxy, hence the yo-yo's name.
However, this is not always the case; some Galaxy yo-yos are painted a shiny gold-color. Other Galaxy yo-yos have a combination of both shiny gold-painted plastic and clear glittered plastic. Still other Galaxy yo-yos have other colored parts as well.
The Russell Galaxy yo-yos were given away as prizes in promotional campaigns, and cannot be purchased in stores.
It also worth noting that Russell also had other prize yo-yos given in promotional campaigns, such as the Russell Gold and Gold Medal.
