The Slasher is a bi-metal yo-yo first released in February 2015 by sOMEThING by YoYoAddict.
The Slasher is sOMEThING's first bi-metal yo-yo to have its weight rings positioned on the outer rims, rather than in the inner lip as seen on the Phaser and ANGLAM. It comes standard with a concave C-bearing and uses silicone Large Slim-sized pads for response. Prior to the release of the Slasher, Hiroyuki Suzuki himself used the prototype in the A-Block at the East Japan Yo-Yo Contest, placing first in the 1A division.
A special limited edition of the Slasher was released as part of a collaboration with Japanese electronic music producer, TeddyLoid, who is known for composing the soundtrack of the anime series Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, and the music for the viral music video "ME!ME!ME!".
