The Train Wreck was the first signature yo-yo for Tyler Severance, produced by SPYY in collaboration with Save Deth productions. It featured a sharp 'V' shaped gap and laser engraving of train tracks. Originally meant to sell at the same price as other high-end metal yo-yos, it was marked down significantly due to anodizing problems. These problems caused the color of the yo-yo to wear away very easily when touched to fingernails when spinning. Even with these problems the Train Wreck was a big hit.
