1999 World Yo-Yo Contest 2A 1st Takumi Nagase

Takumi Nagase was the 1999 World 2A Champion, and a former member of THP Japan. During the 1990s, Takumi was renouned for his talent in 2A at a young age, and had even made an appearance on Oha Suta with two other members of THP Japan and Judge Watanabe. He also got to compete at the 1998 and 1999 Worlds with the likes of Alex Garcia and the Yo-Yo Princess herself, Jennifer Baybrook, in addition to having gotten a quarter flicked off of his ear by 1996 World Champion Dale Myrberg. For a long time, he was out of the yo-yo scene and was a professional skateboarder. In 2012, however, he had returned the competing in yo-yo contests.
