TheYo is an Hawaiian on-line yo-yo store with a forum and chat room. It was founded in 2002 by Michael Attanasio, and he ran it until his death in 2010.

Pricing vs contest and community support.[]
Steve Brown, known on TheYo.com forum as 'barneyakers', started a thread about yo-yo pricing which he asserted his point of view that 'The Yo Store is selling them[yo-yos] for less, because The Yo Store spends less money to support contests'. Michael Attanasio, aka 'YoMike' the store owner, refuted that claim by asserting that he provided a 'fun place that promotes and maintain[sic] interest in Yo-yoing' and donated 'prizes to many contests'
TheYo moderator jhb has stated that after this exchange Steve was 'banned from TheYo's forum' and then 'allowed back' and that 'all bans related to the incident are over'.
