The US National Yo-Yo Museum is located in Chico, California. The museum is located on the premises of Bird In Hand and features yo-yos from the 1920's right through to the modern ball-bearing yo-yos. In addition the museum houses the collection of the Donald F. Duncan family, the original owners of Duncan.
The museum claims to be the largest public yo-yo display in the world and allows visitors free entrance and guided tours. The museum is only one part of the growing Chico Toy Museum, featuring classic toys from across the centuries. Many Chico locals have placed their classic toys on loan to the museum, allowing the toys to be shared with all who visit the store.
The worlds largest working wooden yo-yo, the Tom Kuhn Big-Yo is on display at the National Yo-Yo Museum.
The museum is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm and 12pm to 5pm on Sundays.
