The Missouri State yoyo Contest or MoYo as it is commonly known, celebrated its five year anniversary in 2011. It has been traditionally held in march due to the more favorable weather. The MoYo contest often has unique events such as the 2010 award of 50 vintage bow ties to the crowd favorite spin-top performance, or the 2011 challenge for the longest string throw and catch for a yo-yo.
For the 2011 contest they had two championship categories Freestyle(1A), and an Open Division (2A, 3A, 4A, & 5A). In addition to this they had a sports ladder, Diablo freestyle, spin-top battle, and a jr Division along with a Dual and Arial division. The Dual division is a division covering 2A and 3A scores where as the Arial division covers 4A and 5A.
