The Yo-Yo Times newsletter was a bi-monthly newsletter about the yo-yo community. Its tag line proclaimed their newsletter as "A world of fun on a string for children of all ages." Yo-Yo Times was started in 1988 with its trademark yellow paper by Stuart Crump and was the major source of information for yo-yo enthusiasts at that time.
Yo-yo Times had yo-yo news, tricks, tips, interviews with professional yo-yoers, and other yo-yoing information. It covered contests as well as yo-yo collecting. Eventually it became one of the longest running yo-yo periodicals influencing the surge in the yo-yo’s popularity during the 1990s.
