The H3X (pronounced "hex") by YoYoJam is a yo-yo first released in 2013 as a signature series yo-yo of U.S. National Yo-Yo Master André Boulay.

The H3X is a bi-metal yo-yo, constructed of an aluminum body with titanium midship weight rings that are set rather close to the string gap. The weight rings are also finished in YoYoJam's patented and trademarked "TiDize" anodization, leaving them with a striking iridescent sheen. The yo-yo also takes on the design elements of the popular Dark Magic series, particularly in its body profile. However, the H3X takes the Dark Magic's performance and steps it up even further. It also comes stock with silicone O-ring response and a large Speed Bearing, all for unresponsive play. In addition, it has two sets of machined grooves that serve to minimize sleep loss; one in the general area of the string gap, and the other past the midship weights up to the outer rims.
The quality of the H3X's spin is as smooth as glass, and a lot of care and attention to detail was put into the design and manufacture of the yo-yo. It also makes a great collector's item, and to emphasize this, each H3X is lovingly boxed in a special package. If you intend to give someone this yo-yo as a gift, be careful not to make that person think that you were inviting them into joining a secret society. Each color combination that the yo-yo comes in is limited to only 100 pieces each.
