The Rextreme (stylized as ReXtreme) by YoYoJam is an offstring yo-yo released in 2011 as a signature series model of Rei Iwakura.
Description[]
Up until 2011, Rei Iwakura's go-to yo-yo for offstring play was the Big Yo 2, but its large size, low spinning power, and other flaws makes it a difficult yo-yo to use. After a period of extensive development and countless prototypes, the Rextreme was born, an offstring yo-yo featuring aluminum midship weight rings on its Straight-shaped body, Solid Spin Axle technology for longevity like a metal yo-yo's, a catch zone that makes it easy to land even the toughest tricks, and a trapeze width slightly smaller than that of the Big Yo for better stability and spinning power. It also features a Speed Bearing, and Large Slim silicone O-ring response. The 2012 WYYC edition of the yo-yo, which came signed by Iwakura himself, had a strengthened axle area, along with slightly smaller side caps. Compared to the Equinox, the Rextreme is a major step-up

The Rextreme 2 (also known on some retailers as the Rextreme 2.0) is the second version of the original Rextreme with a few tweaks to the design, the most significant of which being compatibility with YoYoJam's new Lateral Cap system, allowing for finger spin tricks when they are equipped. As with the original, it is a signature series model of Rei Iwakura.

The Rextreme 3 is the third yo-yo in the Rextreme series, released in 2014 as a limited production prototype, sold at Japanese retailers such as Yo-Yo Store Rewind and Spingear. What's different about the Rextreme 3 is that the midship weights are now made of a combination of brass and delrin instead of aluminum, making it weigh much more than its predecessors at a particularly heavy 104.7 grams, which means even longer spinning. Of course, it's still got the Straight shape, large C-bearing and silicone O-ring response, and serves the same purpose; offstring play.

- This is the second offstring yo-yo in the YoYoJam line-up to use the Solid Spin Axle and midship weight rings, after the earlier Equinox of 2010.
- The Rextreme is the first and only YYJ signature series yo-yo of Rei Iwakura before he moved to the C3yoyodesign player team.
