The Hot Shot by Yomega is a ball bearing yo-yo developed for string trick play. It features a clear plastic body with internal aluminum weights on the inside, along with standard rubber response pads, and a large "J"-sized bearing. Certain design elements of the yo-yo would later serve as the basis for the modular Yo-Mods line.
