The Hyper Warp is a yo-yo released in 1999 by Yomega and Bandai as part of the Hyper Yo-Yo line in the United States.
Description
The Hyper Warp is a plastic yo-yo that features a modified body shape, starburst response, and a ball bearing like that used in the Raider and its variants. Players found this slightly heavy yo-yo to be great for looping play, and are known to be very stable performers.
Trivia
- The HyperWarp Wing and its successor, the HyperWarp Heavy Wing carry the Hyper Warp name, but unlike the original, they were not released as part of the Hyper Yo-Yo line.
- However, the HyperWarp Wing was originally slated to be released as a Hyper Yo-Yo product, as seen with Bandai's name being present on the side caps of the prototypes.
- It could be said by some that the Hyper Warp was Bandai's answer to the Raider.
