The Yomega Maverick is a 64 gram aluminum wing shaped yo-yo from Yomega. It features a smooth rubber response system. It is one of the few Yomega metal/aluminum yo-yos. It has a very small grind rim in the edge and comes with removable spacers. The ball bearing that this yoyo uses is an ABEC 5 ball bearing. It is reccommended that you clean the bearing with paint thinner/mineral spirits and change the response to double o-ring to make the yoyo unresponsive. It's shape is great for string tricks, and the bearing is made for long sleep times. It has laser engraved letters on the caps.
The Maverick is succeeded by another Yomega yoyo called the Yomega Dash. The Dash is a yoyo with a wider string gap and a larger diameter and height. It also has laser engraved letters.
