The Strobe-Yo by Yomega is a light-up yo-yo first released in 1998-1999.
Description[]
The Strobe-Yo is the overseas adaptation of the Hyper Mirage, which was released in Japan as part of Bandai's Hyper Yo-Yo line. Of course, it has all the same features; a transaxle sleeve for long sleep times, starburst response and a battery-powered LED light-up system that activates by pressing a touch-sensitive switch and turns off automatically after 150 seconds.

A lighted yo-yo with an astounding effect. When the lights are on (touch activated) they blink faster than the eye can see ... until you throw it. When spinning the lights seem to chase each other around the edge of the yo-yo forward and backwards.
