The 3Points by yoyomonster is a yo-yo released in 2011. It is the a signature series model of Kenichi Nakamura.
Description
This miniature metal yo-yo is designed to be small enough to be attached to a cellphone. The user could bust it out for practicing his/her skills or putting on a performance.
The yo-yo's diameter is 3.14cm, in reference to Pi, a mathematical value referring to the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. The 3Points was also named after Pi. It has a stainless steel body with a flared Straight shape for string tricks, along with an A-sized bearing for long spin times, and specialty Silicone Small Type 40 response pads from yoyomonster. These pads are made in the CBC Small size.
As a special treat for the first production run of the yo-yo, the 3Points comes included with a strap that allows it to be attached to a cellphone, handmade by Nakamura-Meijin himself, and a replacement axle decked out in rhinestones.
Trivia
- The 3Points is one of the smallest yo-yos on the market, almost as small as the YoYoFactory Mighty Flea.
- As a matter of fact, the 3Points is actually the third-smallest production yo-yo by diameter, smaller than even the YoYoJam MiniJam, but almost as small as the Duncan World's Smallest Imperial.
